NOTE: We do not reset passwords over email for security reasons.

Steps to Reset Your Password:

To reset your password, please follow these guidelines:

For Students:

  1. Visit the Microsoft Password Reset Tool.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.
  3. If you encounter any issues, call or visit the GBIT Service Desk.

For Staff:

  1. Refer to the steps outlined in this Knowledge Base article.
  2. If you encounter any issues, call or visit the GBIT Service Desk.

Other Questions:

Why can't passwords be reset via email?

  • For security reasons, email is not considered a secure method for handling password resets. Verifying identity over the phone or in person ensures the protection of user accounts.
